  • Early or Late: Early
  • Notes:
    • There were 2 versions of the geared pump
      • one with a primary spray tube oiler (oil pipe)
      • a later version without the oiler

Variation 2: Late trochoid pump
  • Distinguishing features:

    • 15210-028-040 (oil pump body)
    • 15210-028-060 (oil pump body)
  • Early or Late: Very Late
    • Begins at frame number 677,884
  • Notes:
    • The trochoid pump was higher output than the earlier geared version
    • These are somewhat more difficult to find than the earlier style
