- AKA "low bars" as they have a lower rise as compared to the "high bars"
- Part number(s):
- Early or Late: Early
- Notes:
Variation 1B: Difference in mounts between Low Bars
- Distinguishing features:
- when looking underneath the center, the "low bars" have either knurling or alignment holes
- Part number(s):
- Early or Late: Early
- Notes:
- If you have the version with alignment holes, you'll need to get the matching handlebar mount with the alignment pin
- Likewise, if you have the version with the alignment holes, do NOT get the handlebar mount with pins as they are not compatible (unless you grind them down)
- Note that if you are drilling your own alignment holes, they are centered with the hole for the wiring. This is so the wiring is directed down and the grips are nearly level when installed. As viewed from above the bars swing forward towards the fork tubes.
