Variation 2: "Middle" style Mounting tab with Bolt Hole
- Distinguishing features:
- Has a mounting tab with a hole in the center
- Notice how the center of the tab is circular

- Early or Late: Middle
- Frame number 446,881 to 646,983
- Notes:
- A 6x20 bolt is used to secure the tank to the frame, but the hole itself is large enough to fit the rubber cushion.
- Fits to the frame that has the corresponding hole in the mounting tab.
- Distinguishing features:
- Also has a hole but the center of the tab is squared off
- Part number(s):

- Early or Late: Late
- Frame number 646,984 onward
- Notes:
- This tank matches to the frame that has the 4 tabs at the mounting point.
- Note that there is no bolt used to attach it. The tab simply slips into the slit in the rubber cushion.
Which tank mount rubber fits the early tank w the rectangular tav and the "little bench" on the frame???
